Ever seen a group of adults dressed in the velvet curtains of their grandmothers
running though the forest waving around their plastic swords? If so, you have seen the elusive liveroleplayer in action. It
is hard to see the fun of running around dressed up and wielding an expensive latex sword while the rain is pouring down and
the campfires have died. Your skin itching because you tackeled that monster and fell right in the middle of a nettle patch
which you didn`t see in the dark. When you get back to work on monday and try to explain to your collegues that, allthough
your voice is hoarse and your eyes are puffy with lack of sleep and you haven`t had a shower for three days, you still had
a great time last weekend.
I don`t even know how to describe it. But I can say I have memories
of great battles, moments of intense fear, and that I have see brothers die right beside me, offered my own live to a God,
shared friendships and been recalled from Walhalla by a foe. Who has had a lived like that? Movies like Braveheart, Lord of
the Rings have become reality.
